Essential safety upgrade
I bought this primarily for safety to prevent accidental burns when reaching into the printer. It works great and also seems to help with energy efficiency since the heater doesn't cycle as often.

Good quality, slightly tight fit
The silicone quality feels durable and heat resistant. Installation was a bit tricky because the fit is very snug, but once it's on, it stays there securely. No issues during long prints.

Does the job well

Stable temps for ABS
Printing ABS has become much more consistent since adding this sleeve. The thermal insulation really makes a difference in maintaining the hotend temperature during cooling fan spikes.

Perfect fit for my P2S
This silicone sleeve fits the heating block perfectly. It keeps the heat contained much better than running without it, and my chamber temperature is more stable now. Highly recommended for anyone printing with high-temp materials.

Must-have accessory
For the price, this is a no-brainer. It protects the heating block from dust and accidental contact while improving print consistency. Shipping was fast too.
Q: How difficult is it to remove for nozzle changes?
A: It is flexible enough to be peeled back easily when you need to change the nozzle or clean the heating block, and then snapped back into place afterward.
Q: Does this affect the part cooling fan performance?
A: No, the sleeve is designed to cover only the heating block and does not obstruct the airflow from the part cooling fans or the hotend cooling fan.
Q: What is the maximum continuous temperature this silicone can handle?
A: The high-grade silicone used in this sleeve is rated for continuous exposure up to 300°C, which exceeds the standard operating range of the P2S hotend.
Q: Is this compatible with the original P1P model?
