Perfect upgrade for old V6 setups
Direct drop-in replacement for my standard V6 hotend. The temperature consistency is noticeably better, reducing stringing on complex geometries. The packaging was secure and included clear installation instructions.

Best investment for high-temp printing
Finally able to print PEEK blends successfully. The ceramic insulation prevents heat creep effectively. The quick-swap feature means I can change nozzle diameters in under a minute without tools.

Solid build quality
Very well machined parts. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the included heater cartridge wires were slightly shorter than I needed for my dual-extruder setup, requiring an extension. Otherwise, fantastic product.

Great performance, slight learning curve
Excellent heat retention and stability. It took me a few tries to get the fan alignment perfect for my specific printer frame, but once set up, the print quality improved significantly. Highly recommend for advanced users.

Game changer for abrasive filaments
The ceramic thermal break handles high temperatures effortlessly. I switched from printing PLA to carbon-fiber filled nylon without any clogging issues. The quick-change nozzle is incredibly fast and saves me so much time during maintenance.

Robust and reliable
I run this hotend at 400°C daily for engineering prototypes. The ceramic component shows no signs of degradation after three months of heavy use. The brass nozzles are easy to swap when changing layer heights.
Q: Can I use steel nozzles with this hotend instead of the included brass ones?
A: Absolutely. The quick-change mechanism is designed to be compatible with various nozzle materials, including stainless steel and hardened steel, provided they match the thread specification.
Q: How long does the ceramic thermal break typically last before needing replacement?
A: Under normal operating conditions and proper maintenance, the ceramic thermal break is designed to last for several years. Lifespan may vary based on the frequency of extreme temperature cycling.
Q: Is this compatible with a standard 12V RAMPS board?
A: Yes, the Revo V6 comes with a dual-voltage heater cartridge that works seamlessly with both 12V and 24V power supplies, including standard RAMPS boards.
Q: Does the kit include a silicone sock for insulation?
A: Yes, a high-temperature silicone sock is included in the box to help maintain stable thermal conditions and protect surrounding components from radiant heat.
Q: What is the maximum continuous temperature recommended for daily use?
A: While the unit can reach up to 450°C, we recommend a continuous operating limit of 420°C to ensure the longest lifespan for the ceramic components and seals.
