Good value, minor threading issue
Overall a great kit for the price. The heater block works well at 24V. I had to be careful with the nozzle threading as it was slightly tight, but once installed, it works flawlessly.

Reliable and fast heating
The 40W heater brings the nozzle up to temperature very quickly. The pointed nozzle is great for detailed miniatures. Highly recommend this upgrade.

Works well after calibration
Had to recalibrate my E-steps after installing, but that is normal. The quality of the components seems solid. Good instructions included in the box.

Saved my printer
My original hotend failed after a year of heavy use. This replacement kit brought my Ender 5 back to life immediately. No leaks and consistent extrusion.
Q: What is the maximum temperature this hotend can handle?
A: The hotend is designed to safely operate up to 260°C, which covers the requirements for most common consumer filaments.
Q: Does this come with a silicone sock?
A: No, this specific kit includes the hotend assembly, nozzle, and thermal paste, but the silicone sock is sold separately.
Q: Do I need to update my firmware after installation?
A: Generally, no firmware update is required as this is a direct hardware replacement with identical electrical specifications to the original part.
Q: Can I use this with PLA and PETG filaments?
A: Absolutely. The brass pointed nozzle is suitable for printing with standard materials like PLA, PETG, and TPU without any issues.
Q: Is this compatible with the Ender 5 Plus model?
A: Yes, this hotend kit is fully compatible with both the standard Ender 5 and the Ender 5 Plus models as they share the same extruder assembly.
