Works well but shipping was slow

Good quality but instructions could be better

The part itself feels very solid and well-made. It heats up evenly and maintains temperature well. I deducted one star because the included wiring diagram was a bit faint, but overall a great purchase.

Robust construction

The aluminum block is machined precisely, and the brass nozzle fits perfectly without any leaks. The cooling fan is also quieter than my previous aftermarket one. Very satisfied with this upgrade.

Solved my heating inconsistency

A: This assembly is specifically designed for the CR-6 SE model due to differences in mounting and wiring connectors. It is not directly compatible with the non-SE CR-6 without modifications.

Q: Do I need to update the firmware after installing this?

A: No firmware update is required as this is a direct hardware replacement with identical thermal properties to the original component. You may need to re-level the bed after installation.

Q: Can this handle ABS filament?

A: Yes, this hotend assembly can reach the temperatures required for ABS printing. However, please ensure your printer enclosure is suitable for ABS to prevent warping.

Q: What is the voltage requirement for the heater cartridge?

A: The heater cartridge operates at 24V. Please do not connect it to a 12V power source as it will not reach the necessary operating temperature.

Q: Does this come with a nozzle installed?

A: Yes, the unit comes pre-installed with a standard 0.4mm brass nozzle. However, we recommend checking the tightness after the first heat-up cycle.
