Solved my clogging issues
I was constantly clogging with abrasive filaments on the original setup. This integrated ceramic kit has completely eliminated that problem. The heat distribution seems much more consistent too.

Essential for K1C owners
If you plan on printing anything other than basic PLA, get this kit. It handles higher temperatures effortlessly and the ceramic component prevents degradation over time. Very satisfied with the purchase.

Perfect upgrade for carbon fiber prints
I switched to this ceramic hotend specifically for printing with carbon fiber filled PLA. The wear resistance is noticeable compared to the stock brass nozzle. Installation on my K1 Max was straightforward and took less than 15 minutes.

Solid performance boost
Noticeable improvement in layer adhesion when printing ABS. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that the thermal paste included was a bit dry, but I had my own supply. The hotend itself is fantastic.

Great quality, slightly tricky calibration
The build quality feels premium and robust. After installing, I had to re-run the flow rate calibration to get perfect layers, but once dialed in, the print quality is exceptional. Highly recommend for high-temp materials.
Q: How often should I replace the ceramic component?
A: The ceramic component is highly durable and does not need regular replacement like brass nozzles. It should only be replaced if physically damaged or if you experience persistent flow issues after cleaning.
Q: Can I use this nozzle with pure PEEK filament?
A: While this hotend is high-temperature resistant up to 300°C, pure PEEK typically requires temperatures exceeding 350°C and an all-metal hotend with specific heating capabilities. We recommend checking your printer's maximum heater block temperature before attempting PEEK.
Q: Does the package include a spare nozzle?
A: Yes, the package includes one pre-installed 0.4mm nozzle and one additional spare nozzle of the same size.
Q: Do I need to update the firmware after installation?
A: No firmware update is required for this hardware upgrade. However, we strongly recommend performing a flow rate calibration and PID tuning in the printer settings to optimize performance with the new hotend.
Q: Is this compatible with the original CREALITY K1 non-MAX version?
A: This kit is specifically designed for the K1C and K1 MAX models due to differences in the hotend mounting geometry. It is not recommended for the standard K1 without modification.
