Perfect upgrade for abrasive filaments

Switched to this hardened steel hotend specifically for printing carbon fiber nylon. The flow is excellent and the detachable design makes swapping nozzles incredibly fast. Highly recommended for engineering materials.

Great quality, slightly tricky install

Solid upgrade from stock

Consistent high-temp performance

I regularly print at 285°C with this kit and the temperature stability is impressive. No clogs so far after three spools of glass-filled PETG. The hardened nozzle holds up well against wear.

A: A small packet of thermal paste is included in the box. We recommend applying a fresh thin layer during installation for optimal heat transfer.

Q: What is the maximum safe operating temperature?

A: The hotend is rated for continuous operation up to 300°C. Please ensure your slicer settings do not exceed this limit.

Q: Can I use this nozzle with PLA filament?

A: Absolutely. While designed for abrasive materials, it works perfectly fine with standard PLA, PETG, and ABS filaments as well.

Q: How difficult is it to replace the nozzle itself versus the whole hotend?

A: The nozzle can be replaced individually when cold, but the entire hotend assembly is designed for quick swapping while warm to minimize downtime during jams or material changes.
