Great quality, slightly tricky install
The build quality is excellent and prints are crisp. Installation took me a bit longer than expected as I had to be careful with the wiring harness, but once installed, it works flawlessly.

Solid performance
Works exactly as described. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the price point, but considering the longevity of hardened steel compared to brass, it's worth the investment.

Seamless replacement
My original hotend got clogged beyond repair, and this was a perfect direct replacement. It came pre-assembled which saved me a lot of time. Prints look just as good as day one.

Essential upgrade for A1 owners
If you plan on printing anything other than basic PLA, get this. The temperature stability is improved, and the hardened nozzle gives me peace of mind when experimenting with new materials.

Perfect for abrasive filaments
Finally upgraded my A1 to print carbon fiber PLA without worrying about nozzle wear. The hardened steel nozzle handles the abrasion perfectly, and the detachable design made swapping the old hotend incredibly easy.

Customer support helped me install
I was nervous about replacing the hotend myself, but the instructions were clear, and support answered my questions quickly. Now my printer runs smoother than ever.
Q: Is this compatible with the non-mini Bambu Lab A1?
A: Yes, this assembly is fully compatible with both the standard Bambu Lab A1 and the A1 mini models.
Q: What is the maximum safe operating temperature for this hotend?
A: The hotend is rated for continuous operation up to 300°C, making it suitable for high-temperature engineering filaments.
Q: Can I use this nozzle with abrasive glass-filled nylon?
A: Absolutely. The hardened steel construction is specifically designed to withstand abrasive filaments like glass-filled nylon, carbon fiber, and glow-in-the-dark materials.
Q: Does this come with a new heater cartridge and thermistor?
A: Yes, the unit comes as a complete detachable assembly including the heater cartridge, thermistor, heatsink, and nozzle.
Q: Do I need to recalibrate the flow rate after installation?
A: While not strictly mandatory, we highly recommend running the flow rate calibration and pressure advance tuning in the printer settings after installing a new hotend for optimal print quality.
