Great durability, slightly tricky install

Perfect for abrasive filaments

Q: How does the heat conductivity compare to a copper-plated steel nozzle?

A: Ceramic has lower thermal conductivity than copper or steel, which can result in slightly different heat creep characteristics. However, for the K1 series, the heating element compensates well, providing stable extrusion temperatures especially for high-temp materials.

Q: Is this nozzle compatible with the standard Creality K1 non-Max version?

A: Yes, this ceramic upgrade kit is fully compatible with both the Creality K1 and the K1 Max models as they share the same hotend architecture.

Q: Does this kit include a heater block or just the nozzle?

A: This kit includes only the ceramic nozzle, an installation tool, and a cleaning needle. The heater block and thermistor are not included as this is designed to replace just the nozzle tip on your existing hotend.

Q: Can I use this nozzle with pure metal filaments like aluminum or steel?

A: While ceramic is highly wear-resistant, we do not recommend using it with pure metal filaments that require sintering, as these often exceed safe temperature limits and may cause bonding issues. It is ideal for composite filaments like carbon fiber or glass fiber filled plastics.

Q: What is the recommended tightening torque for installation?

A: Please tighten the nozzle firmly but avoid excessive force. Ceramic is brittle; hand-tighten until snug, then give a slight quarter-turn with the provided wrench. Do not overtighten.
