Good quality, minor threading issue
The heating element works great and reaches temperature quickly. The nozzle threading was slightly tight, but I managed to screw it in without damage. Prints look solid.

Works but instructions missing
The part itself functions well, but it came with no installation guide. I had to watch a YouTube video to figure out the wiring order. Would be 5 stars with better documentation.

Saved my printer!

Perfect replacement for my CR-6 SE

Excellent thermal performance
Temperature stability is impressive. I've been printing ABS and PETG with no issues regarding heat creep. The silicone sock fits perfectly too.
Q: Can I use this for printing flexible TPU filament?
A: Absolutely. The direct drive design of this hotend assembly is actually ideal for flexible materials like TPU, providing better control than bowden setups.
Q: Does this come with a pre-installed nozzle?
A: Yes, the unit arrives with a standard 0.4mm brass nozzle already installed and tightened.
Q: Is this compatible with the standard Ender 3?
A: No, this assembly is specifically designed for the Creality CR-6 SE and CR-5 Pro models. The mounting geometry differs from the Ender 3 series.
Q: What is the maximum temperature this heater can reach?
A: The 24V heater cartridge is rated for safe operation up to 300°C, which covers most common consumer filaments including Nylon and Polycarbonate blends.
Q: Do I need to recalibrate my Z-offset after installing this?
A: Yes, whenever you replace the hotend assembly, it is highly recommended to re-level your bed and recalibrate the Z-offset to ensure perfect first layer adhesion.
