Solid performance
Works exactly as described. The copper plating looks nice and the threading fits perfectly. Deducting one star only because the instructions could be more detailed for beginners.

No more heat creep!
I was skeptical about bimetallic tubes, but this one converted me. The separation between the hot and cold zones is distinct, preventing filament from softening too early in the path.

Cheap upgrade, huge difference
For the price, you cannot beat this upgrade. It performs just as well as more expensive brands I've tried. Highly recommend for anyone modifying their CR-10.

Great quality, tricky install
The build quality is excellent and feels very sturdy. Installation took me a bit longer than expected because I had to clean out old filament residue, but once installed, prints are smoother.

Essential upgrade for high-temp filaments
If you plan on printing Polycarbonate or Nylon, this is a must-have. The titanium section prevents heat creep effectively. My print success rate has gone up significantly.

Solved my clogging issues with ABS
I was constantly getting jams when printing ABS on my Ender 3. Swapping the stock brass throat for this bimetallic tube completely fixed the problem. The heat zone is much more consistent now.
Q: Can this handle PLA printing or is it only for high-temp materials?
A: While designed for high-temperature resistance, it works perfectly fine with PLA, PETG, and other standard filaments. It offers better temperature stability across all material types.
Q: Is the inner diameter smooth enough for flexible filaments like TPU?
A: Yes, the 2.0mm bore is polished to reduce friction, making it suitable for flexible filaments like TPU, provided your retraction settings are tuned correctly.
Q: Do I need to apply thermal paste during installation?
A: It is highly recommended to apply a small amount of high-temperature thermal paste to the threads to ensure optimal heat transfer and prevent the tube from seizing in the future.
Q: What is the length of the tube?
A: The total length is approximately 23mm, which is the standard size for Creality CR-10 and Ender 3 series hotends.
Q: Will this fit an Ender 3 V2 Neo?
A: Yes, this heat break is compatible with the Ender 3 V2 Neo as it uses the standard MK8 style extruder throat found in most Ender 3 variants.
