Saved my printer
I was worried about compatibility, but this matched the Flashforge AD5X specs exactly. Heating up is fast and temperature stability is impressive during long prints.

Great value for money
Works well with ABS and PETG. The high-temperature resistance is noticeable compared to the stock part. Only giving 4 stars because the packaging was a bit flimsy.

Perfect drop-in replacement
My original nozzle was clogged beyond repair. This upgrade fit perfectly into my AD5X without any calibration issues. Print quality is excellent right out of the box.

Solid build quality
The integrated design makes swapping very easy. I appreciate the hardened steel component which should last much longer than standard brass nozzles when printing abrasive filaments.

Good performance upgrade
Noticed less stringing on my PLA prints immediately after installation. The flow rate seems slightly better optimized than the factory default extruder.
Q: Do I need to update the firmware after installing?
A: Generally, no firmware update is required as this is a direct hardware replacement. However, we recommend performing a standard bed leveling and flow calibration after installation.
Q: Can I use carbon fiber filled filament with this?
A: Yes, the integrated nozzle features hardened steel components that are resistant to abrasion, making it suitable for carbon fiber filled filaments as well as standard materials.
Q: Is this compatible with the older AD5 model?
A: No, this upgrade is specifically designed for the Flashforge AD5X series. The mounting points and electrical connectors differ from the original AD5 model.
Q: Does this come with a 0.6mm nozzle option?
A: This specific listing is for the standard 0.4mm integrated nozzle. We do offer a 0.6mm variant in a separate product listing if you need larger layer heights.
