No more clogs!
Switched from the stock hotend to this bimetal kit and haven't had a single clog since. Highly recommended for carbon fiber filaments.

Great value kit
Everything fits perfectly. The ceramic heating pad heats up very quickly. Only giving 4 stars because the instructions could be slightly more detailed.

Solid build quality
The components feel durable and well-made. The wiper is a nice touch for maintenance. Works exactly as described for the ELEGOO printer.
Q: What tools are needed for installation?
A: You will typically need a small hex key set and possibly a pair of tweezers. All necessary screws and connectors are included in the kit.
Q: Is this kit compatible with the original ELEGOO Centauri or only the Carbon version?
A: This kit is specifically designed for the ELEGOO Centauri Carbon model. While it may fit the original, we recommend checking your specific hardware revision before purchasing.
Q: Can I use this with PLA filament or is it only for high-temp materials?
A: You can absolutely use this with PLA. While it is optimized for high-temperature and abrasive materials, it works perfectly fine with standard filaments like PLA and PETG.
Q: Does the package include a thermistor or is it pre-installed?
A: The temperature measurement sensor is pre-installed within the ceramic heating pad assembly, so no separate thermistor installation is required.
Q: How often should I replace the silicone sleeve?
A: The silicone sleeve is durable, but we recommend inspecting it every few months. Replace it if you notice any cracks, tears, or significant hardening to ensure safe operation.
