Good performance, fan is slightly louder
The hotend works perfectly and handles high temperatures well. My only minor complaint is that the included cooling fan seems a decibel louder than the original, but it doesn't affect print quality.

Essential for composite materials
If you plan on printing anything with glass or carbon fiber, you need this. The hardened steel holds up much better than brass. We have three of these in rotation at our studio now.

Works well but packaging was loose
The product itself functions as expected and prints are clean. However, the item arrived with minimal padding, and the box was slightly crushed. Fortunately, the hotend was undamaged.

A: No, this integrated hotend kit is designed specifically for the X1, X1-Carbon, P1P, and P1S models. The A1 series uses a different hotend architecture.
Q: Does this come with a 0.6mm nozzle option?
A: This specific kit comes standard with a 0.4mm hardened steel nozzle. We do offer separate listings for 0.6mm and 0.8mm nozzles if you need a different flow rate.
Q: Can I use this for printing TPU?
A: Yes, the hardened steel nozzle is compatible with TPU. However, ensure you adjust your retraction settings slightly as the thermal conductivity of steel differs slightly from brass, though the difference is usually negligible for flexible filaments.
Q: How difficult is the installation process?
A: The installation is moderate. It requires removing the top cover, disconnecting a few cables, and unscrewing the old hotend. Basic tools are needed, and we provide a PDF guide with purchase. Most users complete it in 10-15 minutes.
Q: Will installing this void my Bambu Lab warranty?
A: Since this is a non-OEM third-party part, any damage directly caused by the installation or failure of this specific component may not be covered by the official manufacturer's warranty. However, simply swapping the hotend generally does not void the warranty for the rest of the machine.
