Best upgrade for the P1S
If you own a P1S and want to push the limits of speed, this is the upgrade to get. My benchy prints finished 40% faster. No clogging issues so far after 50 hours of printing.

Durable and efficient
The build quality feels premium. The copper plating gives it a distinct look, but more importantly, it performs. I've run abrasive glow-in-the-dark filaments through it with zero signs of wear on the orifice.

Great performance, tricky installation
The print quality is excellent and layer adhesion is strong due to the better melting. However, make sure the hotend is at the correct temperature when installing; I struggled a bit getting it tight enough initially. Once on, it works flawlessly.

Essential for abrasive materials
I print a lot of carbon fiber reinforced PETG. This hardened steel nozzle holds up perfectly where brass would wear out in a single spool. The copper plating seems to aid in heat transfer as advertised.

Massive speed increase for bulk prints
Switched from the standard brass nozzle to this CHT hardened steel version on my X1C. The print speeds for large PLA vases are noticeably higher without losing quality. The three-hole design really helps melt the filament faster.

Good value for high volume
Running a small farm of Bambu printers, these nozzles reduce our cycle time significantly. Only giving 4 stars because they are slightly more expensive than generic alternatives, but the reliability is worth the extra cost.
Q: How often should I replace this compared to a brass nozzle?
A: For standard non-abrasive filaments like PLA, the lifespan is similar to brass but with better flow. For abrasive filaments (carbon fiber, glass fiber), this hardened steel nozzle can last 5 to 10 times longer than a standard brass nozzle.
Q: Is this nozzle compatible with the original Bambu Lab X1?
A: Yes, this high-flow CHT nozzle is fully compatible with the Bambu Lab X1, X1C, P1P, and P1S models as they share the same hotend architecture.
Q: Can I use this for printing pure copper filament?
A: While the nozzle is hardened steel and can handle abrasive materials, printing pure metal filaments requires specific temperature profiles and may still pose risks. We recommend checking your filament manufacturer's guidelines for metal-filled plastics like Bronze-fill or Copper-fill PLA.
Q: Does this come in different hole sizes like 0.2mm or 0.6mm?
A: This specific listing is for the standard 0.4mm high-flow variant. We do offer other sizes in separate listings if you need finer detail or higher extrusion volumes.
Q: Do I need to recalibrate my flow rate after installing?
A: It is highly recommended to run the flow rate calibration in the printer settings after swapping nozzles to ensure optimal extrusion multipliers for the new high-flow geometry.
