High Flow mode is a game changer

Great performance, slightly pricey

Solid upgrade for industrial materials

Works flawlessly with glass-filled PETG. The hardened steel holds up well against the abrasion. The only minor issue is that the fan noise is slightly higher than the stock unit at max speed, but it's negligible during operation.

5 FAQ

Q: Does the package include a 0.6mm nozzle or just the 0.4mm?

A: The standard kit comes with a 0.4mm hardened steel nozzle. However, the hotend assembly supports High-Flow (HF) configurations, and 0.6mm nozzles are available for purchase separately if you wish to upgrade.

Q: How often should I replace the hardened steel nozzle?

A: Hardened steel nozzles are significantly more durable than brass ones. Under normal usage with abrasive filaments, they can last 5 to 10 times longer. Replace it only if you notice consistent under-extrusion or visible wear at the tip.

Q: Do I need to perform a manual flow rate calibration after installation?

A: The printer will automatically detect the new hotend and run a vibration calibration. However, for critical dimensional accuracy, we recommend running a manual flow rate calibration via the screen menu or Bambu Studio.

Q: Can I use this with PLA filament, or is it only for abrasive materials?

A: You can absolutely use this hotend with PLA, PETG, ABS, and other standard filaments. While it is designed to handle abrasive materials like carbon fiber, it works perfectly fine with non-abrasive filaments as well.

Q: Is this hotend kit compatible with the original Bambu Lab X1?

A: Yes, this hotend kit is fully compatible with the Bambu Lab X1, X1C, X1E, P1P, and P1S models.
