Solid accessory for continuous printing

Reduced clogging significantly
I print a lot of ABS and ASA, and this sleeve has practically eliminated my heat creep issues. The thermal barrier keeps the cooling fan more effective. Highly recommended.

Essential upgrade for temperature stability
This silicone sleeve fits perfectly on my X1C. I noticed immediately that the ambient temperature around the hotend was much lower, which helped prevent heat creep when printing with PLA at high speeds.

Good value, minor aesthetic issue
Functionally, this works great. My only complaint is that the red color is slightly darker than the original Bambu parts, but it's barely noticeable unless you look closely.

Perfect fit, no gaps
I was worried it might be loose, but it snaps on securely. It looks professional and matches the red accents on the printer. Installation took less than a minute.
Q: Do I need to remove the part cooling shroud to install this?
A: No, you do not need to remove the entire shroud. You can slide the sleeve onto the heater block from the side once the nozzle is heated slightly to expand the silicone, or simply stretch it carefully over the block.
Q: Does this fit the standard V6 hotend or only Bambu specific ones?
A: This sleeve is specifically molded for the proprietary Bambu Lab hotend assembly found in the P1P, P1S, X1, and X1C models. It will not fit a standard E3D V6 hotend.
Q: Can I leave this on when printing materials that require over 280°C?
A: Yes, the silicone is rated for temperatures up to 300°C. However, always ensure your cooling fans are functioning correctly when printing at maximum temperatures.
Q: How often should I replace the silicone sleeve?
A: There is no set replacement schedule. You should only replace it if you notice tears, significant deformation, or if it becomes brittle due to age or chemical exposure.
Q: Is this compatible with the third-party hardened steel nozzles?
A: Yes, as long as you are using the standard Bambu Lab hotend assembly structure, this sleeve fits regardless of whether the nozzle insert is brass or hardened steel.
