Works as expected
Exactly what I needed. Followed a YouTube guide to swap them out, and now my temperature readings are stable. Great to have spares included.

Good value, tricky install
The parts themselves seem high quality and match the original specs perfectly. Installation was a bit fiddly as you need to take apart the hotend completely, but once done, it works great. Having three in the pack is reassuring.

Saved my printer
Thought I needed to replace the whole hotend assembly, but it was just this little resistor. Saved me a lot of money. Shipping was fast too.

Perfect replacement for drifting temps
My X1C started showing inconsistent temperature readings after a year of heavy use. These resistors fixed the issue immediately. The print quality is back to normal with no more layer shifting due to thermal errors.

Genuine feel and performance
I was worried about using third-party sensors, but these feel identical to the OEM parts. The resistance curve is accurate, and my printer no longer throws thermal runaway errors during long ABS prints.

Reliable spare parts
We keep these on hand for our farm of X1C printers. They are reliable and solve the common temperature fluctuation issues quickly. Deducting one star only because the packaging could be more protective.
Q: Is there a difference between the three resistors in the pack?
A: No, all three resistors in the package are identical components. You can use them interchangeably for the left, right, or backup slots as needed.
Q: How long does shipping usually take?
A: Standard shipping typically takes 3-5 business days within the continental US. International shipping times vary by location but usually range from 7 to 14 business days.
Q: What tools are needed to replace these resistors?
A: You will need a hex key set (specifically 1.5mm and 2.0mm), a pair of tweezers for handling the small connector, and potentially a heat gun to soften the adhesive if your hotend has been serviced before.
Q: Do I need to recalibrate the printer after installation?
A: Generally, no manual calibration is required. Once installed, the printer firmware will automatically read the new sensor values. However, running a flow calibration print is always recommended after any hotend maintenance.
Q: Are these compatible with the P1P model or only the X1C?
A: These resistors are specifically designed and calibrated for the X1C series hotends. While the physical connector might fit other models, we recommend checking the specific part number for P1P compatibility to ensure accurate temperature reading.
