Perfect fit
Fits snugly on the hotend without any gaps. Installation took less than a minute. My nozzle clogs have significantly decreased since I started using this.

Works as advertised
Does exactly what it says. Helps maintain ambient temperature around the nozzle. Only giving 4 stars because I wish it came in a 2-pack.

Must-have accessory
We bought ten of these for our office printer farm. They improve print consistency across all machines by reducing thermal fluctuations. Great value.

Good quality, slightly tight
The material feels very durable and heat resistant. It was a bit difficult to stretch over the heater block initially, but once on, it stays put perfectly.

No more burnt fingers
Besides improving print quality, this also acts as a safety barrier. I accidentally touched the hotend area while changing filaments and didn't get burned. Peace of mind included.

Essential for consistent prints
This silicone sock is a game changer for my P1S. It keeps the hotend temperature stable even with the part cooling fan running at 100%. Highly recommended for anyone printing with ABS or ASA.
Q: What is the maximum temperature this sock can withstand?
A: The high-grade silicone used in this sock is rated to withstand continuous temperatures up to 300°C (572°F), covering the full range of supported filaments.
Q: Is this compatible with the Bambu Lab A1 mini?
A: No, this specific silicone sock is designed for the P1 series and X1 series printers. The A1 mini requires a different model due to its unique hotend assembly.
Q: Can I print PLA with the sock on?
A: Yes, absolutely. While it is most beneficial for high-temperature materials like ABS and ASA, it does not negatively affect PLA printing and helps stabilize temperatures.
Q: How often should I replace the silicone sock?
A: Under normal usage, the sock can last for several hundred print hours. You should replace it if you notice tears, significant deformation, or if it no longer fits snugly.
Q: Does this interfere with the LiDAR or flow sensor?
A: No, the sock is precision-molded to avoid interference with the LiDAR, flow sensor, or the nozzle wiping mechanism on compatible Bambu Lab printers.
