Good quality, fast shipping
The fan works well and keeps the hotend cool during long prints. I deducted one star because the connector felt slightly stiff to plug in, but it seated securely once installed.

Easy install for beginners
I was worried about breaking something while replacing it, but the process was straightforward. The fan runs quietly and efficiently. Great support from the seller too.

Does the job
Simple swap and the printer is back in action. No unusual vibrations or noises. It's a bit pricey for just a fan, but necessary for maintaining the printer.

Genuine part feel
Feels exactly like the OEM part that came with the machine. The airflow seems consistent and the bearing quality is excellent. Highly recommend keeping a spare on hand.

Restored print quality
I was experiencing heat creep issues which turned out to be a failing fan. Swapping this in solved the problem instantly. My PLA prints are smooth again with no clogs.

Perfect replacement for my H2S
My original fan started making a grinding noise after six months. This replacement fit perfectly and restored the quiet operation of my printer immediately. Installation took less than five minutes.
Q: Can I use this for the AMS unit as well?
A: No, the AMS unit utilizes different fans for filament drying and movement. This part is strictly for the hotend cooling system on the H2S printer head.
Q: How do I know if my hotend fan needs replacing?
A: Common signs include increased noise levels, reduced airflow leading to heat creep errors, or the printer reporting a hotend temperature anomaly during high-speed printing.
Q: What is the expected lifespan of this replacement fan?
A: Under normal operating conditions, these fans are rated for approximately 20,000 hours of continuous use, similar to the original equipment manufacturer standards.
Q: Does this come with the screws needed for installation?
A: The package includes the fan and the specific mounting clip required. You typically reuse the existing screws from your old fan unit, so no new screws are provided.
Q: Is this fan compatible with the Bambu Lab X1 Carbon?
A: No, this specific fan is designed exclusively for the Bambu Lab H2S model. The X1 Carbon uses a different hotend assembly and fan specification.
