Great quality material
The silicone feels very durable and high quality. It snaps on easily without any tools. After a week of continuous printing, it still looks brand new with no signs of degradation.

Works well but tight fit initially
Does exactly what it is supposed to do by keeping the heat concentrated at the nozzle. The fit was a little tight on my P1S at first, but after one heat cycle, it settled in perfectly.

Reduced warping significantly

Essential upgrade for consistent prints
This silicone sock fits perfectly on my X1-Carbon. I noticed immediately that the temperature stability improved, especially when printing with ABS. The ambient airflow in my room no longer causes layer adhesion issues.

A: There is no fixed schedule. You should replace it if you notice tears, significant deformation, or if it no longer fits snugly around the hotend.

A: No, the sock is designed to account for the clearance needed for automatic bed leveling and laser calibration. It will not interfere with standard operations.
Q: What is the maximum temperature this silicone can withstand?
A: The material is resistant up to approximately 300°C, which covers the operating range of all standard filaments supported by Bambu Lab printers.
Q: Can I print nylon with this sock installed?
A: Yes, this sock is rated for high temperatures and is actually recommended when printing engineering materials like Nylon, ABS, or ASA to maintain consistent chamber heat.
