Description
This coated nozzle print head is designed for Bambu Lab X1C, P1P, and P1S 3D printers to enable clean extrusion of PETG filament. The specialized coating reduces material adhesion on the tip, effectively preventing stringing and oozing during high-temperature prints. It serves as a direct replacement component to improve surface finish on hygroscopic materials without requiring extensive parameter tuning. Ensure the printer is cooled and power is disconnected before swapping the hotend assembly.

5 FAQ
Q: How often should I replace this compared to a brass nozzle?
A: Due to the hardened steel construction and protective coating, this nozzle typically lasts 3 to 5 times longer than a standard brass nozzle, especially when printing abrasive or sticky materials like PETG.
Q: Is this nozzle compatible with the original Bambu Lab X1?
A: This specific coated nozzle is designed for the X1C, P1P, and P1S models. While it may physically fit the original X1, we recommend checking your specific hotend assembly version before purchasing to ensure optimal thermal performance.
Q: Can I use this nozzle with PLA filament?
A: Yes, absolutely. While optimized for PETG to reduce stringing, this nozzle works excellently with PLA, ABS, ASA, and other common filaments. You will notice improved release properties across the board.
Q: Does the package include a heater block or just the nozzle?
A: The package includes only the coated nozzle tip and a small installation tool. It does not include the heater block or thermistor; it is designed to screw into your existing hotend assembly.
Q: What is the maximum safe temperature for this coated nozzle?
A: The nozzle is rated for temperatures up to 300°C. Please ensure you do not exceed this limit to maintain the integrity of the anti-adhesion coating.
