Perfect for functional prototypes
The glass fiber reinforcement makes this filament incredibly stiff. I printed a bracket for my office setup and it holds heavy equipment without bending. The RFID tag made setup instant on my X1 Carbon.

No warping issues at all
I've struggled with warping on large ABS prints in the past, but the GF addition here really stabilizes the material. Printed a large enclosure for electronics and the corners stayed perfectly flat.

Solid choice for industrial look
The durability is top-notch. These prints feel like injection-molded parts. Only giving 4 stars because it is slightly more abrasive than standard PLA, so ensure your hardware is ready for it.

RFID feature is a game changer
As someone who switches materials often, the automatic parameter loading via RFID saves so much time. The print quality is consistent and the water resistance is a bonus for items near windows.

Great strength, matte finish is nice
Love the fine matte texture; it hides layer lines very well. The dimensional stability is excellent for precise parts. Just remember to use a hardened steel nozzle as the glass fiber can wear out brass quickly.
Q: Does the RFID tag work with non-Bambu printers?
A: The RFID smart parameter recognition is designed specifically for Bambu Lab printers with RFID readers. Other printers can still use the filament, but you will need to manually input the printing parameters.
Q: Is this filament suitable for outdoor use?
A: While this filament is water-resistant and durable, standard ABS-GF is not UV stabilized. For prolonged outdoor exposure to direct sunlight, we recommend considering our ASA-GF variant instead.
Q: What bed adhesion method works best for this material?
A: For best results, use a PEI sheet or apply a thin layer of glue stick on a heated glass bed. Ensure the bed temperature is set between 80°C and 100°C for optimal adhesion.
Q: Can I dry this filament if it absorbs moisture?
A: Yes, if the filament has absorbed moisture, you can dry it in a filament dryer or oven at approximately 80°C for 4-6 hours before printing to restore print quality.
Q: Do I need a special nozzle to print this filament?
A: Yes, because this filament contains glass fiber, it is abrasive. We strongly recommend using a hardened steel nozzle to prevent premature wear on standard brass nozzles.
