Peace of mind

Even though I mostly print PLA, knowing I have a hardened steel hotend installed gives me peace of mind to try new materials without worrying about damaging the nozzle. The silicone sock keeps the heat contained nicely.

Solid performance

Works exactly as advertised. The heating is uniform, and the hardened nozzle shows no signs of wear after several spools of abrasive filament. Only giving 4 stars because the price is a bit steep compared to generic options.

Great upgrade, minor calibration needed

The build quality is excellent and the silicone sock fits perfectly. I did have to re-run the flow rate calibration after installation, which is expected. Prints are now much smoother with composite materials.
