Perfect for hinges and snap-fits
The bend resistance is no joke. I printed a living hinge box, and it has been opened and closed hundreds of times without cracking. Highly recommend for any mechanical assembly.

Incredible durability for functional parts
I've been using standard PLA for years, but this Tough+ filament is a game changer. I printed a bracket for my drone, and it survived a crash that would have shattered regular PLA. The RFID tag made loading onto my X1 Carbon seamless.

Great material, slightly higher temp needed
Excellent strength and layer adhesion. I found I needed to print at the higher end of the temperature range (around 245°C) to get the best results on my P1S. Once dialed in, the prints are flawless.

RFID feature is so convenient
Love that the spool automatically loads all the correct settings. No more guessing parameters. The toughness is evident; my tool holders are finally lasting longer than a week.

Solid upgrade from standard PLA
Very impressed with the impact resistance. Only giving 4 stars because it is slightly more expensive than generic brands, but the quality and time saved with the RFID make it worth it.

Best PLA variant for stress testing
We use this for internal prototyping where parts need to withstand some abuse before we move to ABS or Nylon. It bridges that gap perfectly while remaining easy to print.
Q: Can I dry this filament if it absorbs moisture?
A: Yes, if the filament has absorbed moisture, you can dry it in a filament dryer at approximately 45°C for 4-6 hours before printing.
Q: What is the shelf life of the spool?
A: When stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and sealed properly, the filament maintains optimal quality for up to 2 years.
Q: Does this require a heated enclosure?
A: No, a heated enclosure is not required for PLA Super Tough+. It prints well with just a heated bed set between 45°C and 60°C.
Q: How does the bend resistance compare to PETG?
A: PLA Super Tough+ offers better stiffness than PETG while providing significantly improved impact resistance compared to standard PLA. It is less flexible than TPU but much stronger than regular PLA in drop tests.
Q: Is this filament compatible with non-Bambu Lab printers?
A: Yes, you can use this filament on other 1.75mm FDM printers. However, the RFID smart recognition feature will only work with compatible Bambu Lab printer models.
