Works well but runs hot
The print quality is good, but I noticed the fan on the heatsink had to run at 100% to prevent heat creep. Might need to tweak my cooling settings. Otherwise, it fits perfectly.

Restored my printer to life
My original hotend started clogging constantly. Replacing it with this genuine Anycubic accessory solved the issue immediately. Prints are back to being crisp and detailed.

Perfect upgrade for abrasive filaments
Switched to the hardened steel volcano head to print carbon fiber PLA. The brass nozzle wore out in a week, but this setup has been running flawlessly for months. Temperature stability is excellent.

Essential for serious printing
If you plan on doing more than just basic PLA, get the hardened steel version. It handles high-temperature ABS without any issues. Very happy with this purchase.

Good quality but installation took time
The parts feel very solid and well-machined. Installation on my Kobra 2 Neo was straightforward once I watched a tutorial video. Deducting one star because the included thermistor wire was slightly short.

Great value bundle
Getting the extra nozzles and the heater cartridge in one pack is convenient. The brass nozzles work perfectly for standard PLA projects. Fast shipping too.

A: No, this Volcano style hotend is specifically designed for the Kobra 2 series (2, 2 Neo, 2 Pro). The original Kobra uses a different V6-style hotend configuration.
Q: What is the wattage of the included heater cartridge?
A: The included heater cartridge is rated at 40W, which matches the stock specifications for the Anycubic Kobra 2 series printers.
Q: Does this come with a silicone sock?
A: This specific accessory kit does not include a silicone sock. However, standard Volcano-style silicone socks are widely available and fit this heater block perfectly.
Q: Do I need to recalibrate the Z-offset after installing?
A: Yes, whenever you replace the hotend or nozzle assembly, it is essential to re-level the bed and recalibrate the Z-offset to ensure proper first-layer adhesion.
Q: Can I use the brass nozzle with nylon filament?
A: We do not recommend using brass nozzles with Nylon or abrasive filaments like Carbon Fiber or Glow-in-the-dark PLA. Please use the included Hardened Steel nozzle for those materials to prevent premature wear.
