Solved my heat creep issues
I was experiencing frequent heat creep with the stock unit. This dual metal print head dissipates heat much better. I've printed over 500 grams of PLA without a single jam.

Perfect replacement for my Kobra 3
My original hotend got clogged with abrasive filament, so I switched to this hardened steel version. Installation was straightforward, and the print quality is back to normal. Highly recommended for anyone printing with carbon fiber or glow-in-the-dark materials.

Works well but instructions could be better
The part itself works great and prints are smooth. However, the included paper instructions were very vague. I had to watch a YouTube video to figure out the wiring order correctly.

Good quality, minor fitment issue
The build quality of the brass nozzle and heater block is excellent. However, I had to slightly adjust the fan positioning to get it to sit flush. Once installed, temperature stability is perfect.

Robust construction
The machining on the heater block is precise. Thermistor readings are accurate right out of the box. It's a solid upgrade if you plan to push your printer to higher temperatures safely.

Essential upgrade for heavy users
We use our Kobra 3 printers daily in our workshop. These kits are durable and withstand continuous operation. The hardened steel nozzles last significantly longer than standard brass ones when using composite filaments.
Q: What is the difference between the brass and hardened steel nozzle included?
A: The brass nozzle offers better thermal conductivity for standard filaments like PLA. The hardened steel nozzle is included for printing abrasive materials like wood-fill, carbon fiber, or glow-in-the-dark filaments to prevent wear.
Q: Does the package include the silicone sock?
