Upgrade from stock wiring

Perfect fit for my Tele build

Classic Tele tone

Works well but tight fit

The electronics work great, but the plate was slightly too wide for my aftermarket pickguard. Had to do some minor filing. Otherwise, the sound is excellent.

A: Both potentiometers featured in this assembly are Audio Taper (Logarithmic), which is standard for volume and tone controls on electric guitars.

Q: Is the ground wire pre-attached to the plate?

A: Yes, the ground lug is pre-soldered to the iron plate to ensure proper shielding and grounding once you secure the plate to the guitar body.

Q: Can I use this for a humbucker setup?

A: While physically compatible, 250K pots are typically designed for single-coil pickups. For humbuckers, we generally recommend 500K pots for optimal brightness, though this will still function.

Q: Will this fit a Squier Affinity Telecaster?

A: Yes, this plate follows the standard Telecaster mounting pattern and should fit most Squier Affinity models without modification.

Q: Does this come with the output jack included?

A: No, this pack includes only the control plate assembly with pots and switch. The output jack must be purchased separately or sourced from your existing parts.
