Smooth action and rich sound
The facing on this clarinet mouthpiece is incredibly consistent. No squeaking, and the dark core sound is exactly what I was looking for for chamber music.

Good, but ligature could be better
The mouthpiece itself is fantastic for the price, but the included ligature feels a bit cheap. I ended up swapping it out for a Rovner. Still, the ebonite quality is excellent.

Great value for gigging musicians
Solid ebonite construction. I use the tenor version as a backup for outdoor gigs where I don't want to risk my main metal piece. Intonation is spot on across the registers.

Easy to blow for a beginner
As someone who just picked up the saxophone last month, this mouthpiece makes producing a sound so much easier. Very forgiving and comfortable to hold.

Perfect upgrade for my student sax
I bought the alto mouthpiece for my daughter who is just starting out. The tone is much warmer than the plastic one that came with her rental instrument. It responds easily even for a beginner.

Recommended for my whole section
I've recommended these to several students in my high school band program. They are durable, affordable, and produce a consistent sound that blends well in an ensemble.
Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Yes, we ship to most countries worldwide. Shipping costs and delivery times vary by location and will be calculated at checkout.
Q: Does this come with a ligature and cap?
A: Yes, every Mammoth mouthpiece ships with a standard metal ligature and a protective hard plastic cap.
Q: What is the difference between the 5M and 7M tip openings?
A: The 5M offers a more closed feel, ideal for beginners seeking control and easier high notes. The 7M provides a larger opening for greater volume and flexibility, suited for advanced players.

A: Absolutely. Our mouthpieces are designed to fit standard taper bores, making them fully compatible with Yamaha, Selmer, Jupiter, and most major student and intermediate models.
Q: Can I return this if the facing doesn't suit my playing style?
A: Yes, we offer a 30-day return policy on unused items in original packaging. Please note that hygiene reasons prevent returns on used mouthpieces unless there is a manufacturing defect.
