Solid construction, easy to tune
Very happy with this purchase. The hardware feels sturdy, and the heads held their tune well after the initial stretching period. The dual hi-hat setup is a unique feature that adds a lot of creative options for practice.

Great value, minor hardware tweaks needed
Overall a solid drum set. The shells look beautiful and resonate well. I had to tighten some of the lugs and adjust the cymbal stands out of the box, which is common for kits in this range. Once set up, it plays like a dream.

Exceeded expectations for adults too
Don't let the 'for kids' label fool you; this is a legitimate kit for adults as well. The 5-drum configuration offers great versatility. The hi-hats are responsive, and the cymbals have a nice crash without being too brash.

Beautiful finish and rich tone
I bought this for my home studio, and the high-gloss finish looks professional under the lights. The poplar wood provides a warm tone that records very well. Having four toms allows for complex fills that I couldn't do on my old 3-tom kit.

Perfect starter kit for my teenager
My son has been wanting to learn drums for months, and this JINBAO kit was the perfect choice. The sound quality is surprisingly good for the price, and having extra toms gives him room to grow. Assembly took about two hours, but the instructions were clear.

Good sound, heavy shipping box
The drums themselves are fantastic, but be prepared for a very heavy delivery. One of the tom mounts was slightly bent upon arrival, but customer support sent a replacement part quickly. Sound-wise, it punches above its weight class.
