Transformed my instrument

Solid components

The potentiometers and capacitor are decent quality. It's not boutique gear, but it is a massive improvement over cheap stock wiring. The pickguard material feels durable too.

Noise-free performance

Installed the SSH configuration yesterday. The grounding is spot on; absolutely no hum or buzz even with high gain. The 5-way switch clicks firmly into place. Very satisfied.

Great value, minor fitting issue

Perfect upgrade for my Squier

A: All potentiometers in this set are 250k Ohm audio taper, which is the standard value for single-coil and humbucker setups in Stratocaster-style guitars to maintain brightness and clarity.

Q: Is soldering required to install this set?

A: Minimal soldering is usually required only to connect the pickup leads to the harness and the ground wire to the bridge. The internal connections between pots, switches, and jacks are already pre-soldered at the factory.

Q: Will this fit a Fender Player Series Stratocaster?

A: This harness is specifically designed for Squier and Import Standard Stratocasters. While it may fit some Fender Player models, the screw holes might not align perfectly without modification. We recommend checking your current pickguard hole pattern.

Q: Can I use this for a left-handed guitar?

A: The wiring harness is symmetrical enough to work, but the pickguard is cut for right-handed guitars. For a left-handed build, you would likely need to source a left-handed pickguard and transfer the electronics.
