Decent but requires specific tooling
The connectors work well, but you definitely need a proper hydraulic crimper for 8AWG wire. Hand tools won't give you a reliable connection here.

A: The tin-plated copper offers good corrosion resistance, but since it is non-insulated, it should be used within an enclosed junction box or treated with dielectric grease if exposed to moisture.
Q: Is this connector insulated or bare?
A: This is a non-insulated (bare) ring terminal, designed for applications where insulation is provided by other means or not required.
Q: Does this come in a smaller pack size than 100?
A: The manufacturer standard package is 100 units. However, some third-party sellers on our marketplace may offer smaller breakdown quantities.
Q: What is the maximum voltage rating for this part?
A: While voltage ratings depend on the specific application and spacing, these standard Solis terminals are typically rated for up to 600V in general industrial use.
Q: Can I use a standard hand crimper for 8AWG wire with this?
A: For 8AWG wire, we strongly recommend using a heavy-duty ratcheting crimper or a hydraulic tool to ensure a gas-tight, reliable connection. Standard light-duty hand crimpers may not suffice.
