Reliable micro motor
Used this in a custom robot build. The torque is sufficient for light loads and the fan attachment is secure.
Q: Can this motor run on a standard AA battery?
A: Yes, a single AA battery provides 1.5V, but for optimal performance with the fan blade, we recommend using two AA batteries in series (3V) or a 9V battery with a resistor.
Q: Does this come with wires attached?
A: No, the motor terminals are bare tabs. You will need to solder your own wires for connection to your power source or controller.
Q: Can I reverse the direction of the spin?
A: Absolutely. Simply swap the positive and negative connections on the motor terminals to reverse the rotation direction.
Q: Is the fan blade removable if I want to use the motor for something else?
A: Yes, the fan blade is press-fitted onto the shaft and can be gently pulled off if you need to use the motor for other applications.
Q: What is the maximum voltage this motor can handle without burning out?
A: The Micro 130 motor is rated for up to 6V. Exceeding this voltage may reduce the lifespan of the motor or cause overheating.
