Smooth and reliable
The brush tip is surprisingly flexible without being too floppy. It holds up well under pressure for varied line weights. Definitely buying more sets for my studio.

Good black intensity
The black is very deep and opaque. I deducted one star only because I wish they came in a larger bulk pack, but the quality of the pens themselves is excellent.

Kids love them, caps fit tight
My kids enjoy using these for their coloring books. The only minor issue is that the caps can be a bit tight for smaller hands to pull off, but that also means they won't dry out easily.

Perfect for my daughter's sketchbook

A: One end features a 0.4mm fine metal tip ideal for precise outlining and intricate details. The other end has a 1.0mm flexible brush tip perfect for calligraphy, shading, and variable line widths.
Q: Will the ink bleed through marker paper or watercolor paper?
A: Our fine liner pens are designed to prevent bleeding on standard printer and sketch paper. On very thin or highly absorbent watercolor paper, slight show-through may occur, but significant bleeding is rare.
Q: Are these pens safe for children under 5?
A: Yes, these pens are ACMI AP certified non-toxic and feature washable ink, making them safe for young children. However, adult supervision is always recommended for toddlers.
Q: Can I refill these pens once the ink runs out?
A: No, the MARCO Fine Liner Pens are not designed to be refilled. They are sealed units to ensure consistent ink flow and prevent leakage. We recommend recycling the empty barrels responsibly.
Q: How do I clean the ink if it gets on clothing?
A: Since the ink is water-based and washable, simply rinse the stained area with cold water immediately. For dried stains, soaking in warm soapy water before washing usually removes the mark completely.
