Perfect for kids!
Bought this for my 9-year-old daughter. She was able to fly it herself after a brief explanation. The 'light breeze' claim is accurate; it flies well even on calm days.

Excellent photography prop

Great quality, easy assembly
As an adult hobbyist, I appreciate the carbon fiber rods which make it sturdy yet light. Assembly took less than 5 minutes. Only giving 4 stars because the included string could be a bit longer.

2026 Model is a winner

Absolutely Stunning in the Sky
The colors on this retro butterfly design are even more vibrant in person. It caught the light breeze immediately at the beach and stayed stable without much effort. Perfect for our family weekend.
Q: Is the material durable enough for rough handling by children?
A: Yes, it is made from ripstop nylon which is tear-resistant. However, we recommend adult supervision for younger children to ensure the best experience.
Q: Can I replace the flying line if it breaks?
A: Absolutely. The bridle uses a standard loop connection, so you can easily attach any replacement kite string of your preferred length and strength.
Q: What is the minimum wind speed required to get this butterfly kite airborne?
A: Thanks to its ultra-lightweight design, this kite can launch in light breezes starting from approximately 5 km/h (3 mph).
Q: Is this suitable for high-wind conditions over 30 km/h?
A: While durable, this model is optimized for light to moderate breezes. In winds exceeding 30 km/h, we advise using a shorter line or grounding the kite to prevent stress on the frame.
Q: Does this kite come pre-assembled or do I need to build the frame?
