Stunning natural patterns
I bought this to make a custom gift. The natural variations in the black stone created a unique look that machine-made beads just cannot match. Very satisfied.

Perfect for my workshop
Fast shipping and well-packaged to prevent breakage. The stone cuts cleanly and takes a high polish. Will definitely order more Mowanji black jade in the future.

Authentic Burmese Jade
As a lapidary artist, I can confirm this is genuine Type A jadeite. The Damakan sections provided a nice contrast in my final bracelet design. Highly recommended for professionals.

Excellent quality for carving
The stone density is impressive. I managed to carve two beautiful bangles from this rough material without any unexpected cracks. The black color is deep and polished up nicely.

Solid rough stock
The pieces were larger than I expected from the photos. There were a few internal fractures typical of raw stone, but nothing that ruined the project. Good purchase overall.

Good value but requires skill
Beautiful raw material, though it is quite hard to work with if you are a beginner. The Mowanji texture is authentic. Just make sure you have the right diamond tools.
Q: Does the black color fade over time?
A: Natural Mowanji black jadeite is stable and will not fade. The color is inherent to the mineral composition of the stone.
Q: Is this stone treated or dyed in any way?
A: No, this is 100% natural Type A Burmese Jadeite with no chemical treatments, dyes, or polymer impregnation.
Q: Are there visible cracks in the raw stones?
A: As these are natural rough materials, some surface fissures or internal lines may exist. This is normal for raw jade and is accounted for during the carving process.
Q: What size blanks do I need to carve a standard adult bracelet?
A: For a standard adult bangle, we recommend selecting rough blanks that are at least 60mm in diameter and 15mm thick to allow for shaping and polishing loss.
Q: Can you provide a certificate of authenticity with this order?
A: Certificates are available for an additional fee through third-party gemological labs. Please contact us before checkout to arrange this service.
