Good pump, short cord
The pump itself works great and is very silent. However, the 6-foot cord was just barely long enough to reach my outlet. You might need an extension.

Great value for small ponds

A: The pump must remain fully submerged to operate correctly and prevent damage. While it has some thermal protection, running it dry for extended periods will void the warranty and may burn out the motor.
Q: Is this pump safe to use in saltwater aquariums?
A: This pump is designed specifically for freshwater applications such as fish tanks, ponds, and artificial rock gardens. We do not recommend using it in saltwater environments as it may corrode the internal components.
