Great tea pet
I use this as a tea pet during my Gongfu tea sessions. It absorbs the tea nicely over time and develops a nice patina. The wood grain is unique and beautiful.

Perfect gift
Bought this for my father who loves zodiac collectibles. He was thrilled with the symbolism of the Qilin and the quality of the wood. Highly recommend.

Lovely aroma
Not only does it look great on my desk, but the natural scent of the thuja wood is very calming. It's a high-quality portable ornament.

Solid and well-made
Very sturdy for such a small item. The carving is deep and precise. I deducted one star only because the natural wood had a tiny knot, but that adds to its authenticity.

Exquisite craftsmanship
The detail on this Qilin is incredible. You can see every scale and muscle definition. The thuja wood smells wonderful and feels smooth to the touch. A perfect addition to my tea set.

Beautiful but small
It is a lovely piece with great energy. Just be aware it is slightly smaller than I expected from the photos. Still, the quality of the carving makes up for the size.
Q: Is this made from real thuja wood?
A: Yes, this ornament is crafted from 100% natural thuja wood, known for its durability and pleasant aromatic properties.
Q: Does each piece look exactly like the photo?
A: Since this is hand-carved from natural wood, grain patterns and minor details may vary slightly, making each piece unique.
Q: Is this item safe to pour hot tea over?
A: Yes, it is designed as a tea pet. However, we recommend pouring tea over it gradually to allow the wood to absorb it naturally without cracking.
Q: How should I clean this ornament?
A: Simply wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using chemical cleaners or soaking it in water for long periods to preserve the wood's integrity.
Q: What is the significance of the Qilin design?
A: In traditional culture, the Qilin is an auspicious beast symbolizing good luck, prosperity, and protection. It is often kept to invite positive energy.
