Looks great in the display case
The box it comes in is nice quality velvet. The coin itself is heavy and substantial. Took off one star only because I wish it came with a small stand, but overall very happy.

Stunning detail for the price
The relief work on this replica is incredible. It looks exactly like an 1857 copper cent but feels much more durable due to the alloy construction. Perfect for my desk display.

Great for film props
I bought a dozen of these for a period piece short film. They look authentic on camera and the weight gives them a realistic feel in the actors' hands.

Perfect gift for history teachers
Bought this for my father who teaches American History. He loved the tactile quality and uses it in class to show students what old currency looked like without risking a real antique.

Craftsmanship is top notch
You can tell this was handcrafted. The edges are smooth, the reeding is precise, and the copper tone is rich. Highly recommend for anyone who loves vintage aesthetics.

Nice conversation starter
As a serious collector, I know this isn't real, but it's a beautiful homage to the Flying Eagle cent. The patina finish is very well done. Just remember it's a prop!
Q: Is the display box included?
A: Yes, every unit comes with a protective velvet pouch and a sturdy display box suitable for gifting or shelving.
Q: Can I use this as legal currency?
A: Absolutely not. This item is strictly a decorative replica and prop. It holds no monetary value and cannot be used for transactions.
Q: What are the exact dimensions?
A: The replica measures 38.1 mm in diameter and 3.2 mm in thickness, matching the specifications of the original 1857 large cent design.
Q: Does the patina wear off over time?
A: The finish is baked on for durability. While excessive rubbing or exposure to harsh chemicals might affect it eventually, normal handling and display will keep the vintage look intact for years.
Q: Is this made of real copper?
A: No, this is a novelty prop made from a durable zinc alloy with an antique copper finish to mimic the look of an 1857 coin without the softness of pure copper.
