Great for incense appreciation
I bought this specifically to burn incense cones on. The aged wood does not absorb the smoke smell but complements it beautifully. Highly recommended.

Beautiful but smaller than expected
The wood quality is top-notch and the polish is smooth. I use it as a coaster for my tea cup. Just wish it was slightly larger based on the photos.

A natural treasure
You can tell this is old stock material. The density is heavy and the grain pattern is unique. It feels great to hold while reading or thinking.

Good quality, minor imperfection
Overall a nice piece, but there was a tiny knot on the back side that wasn't visible in the listing photos. Still functional as a coaster though.
Q: Is the wood treated with any chemicals or varnishes?
A: No, we only use a natural beeswax polish to enhance the grain. There are no synthetic varnishes or chemical treatments used on this old stock material.
Q: Does this piece come with a stand for display?
A: No, this item is sold as a standalone plaque or handheld piece. It sits flat on surfaces but does not include a separate display stand.
Q: Can I use this directly under hot coffee mugs?
A: Yes, the dense aged Thuja wood is heat resistant and works well as a coaster for hot beverages. We recommend using it on a stable surface.
Q: How strong is the natural fragrance?
A: The scent is subtle and natural, not overpowering. It becomes more noticeable when the wood is warmed by your hands or when incense is burned upon it.
Q: Are the growth rings unique to each piece?
A: Yes, since this is a natural wood product made from old stock, every single piece has a unique grain pattern and growth ring structure.
