Works well but color varies
Functionally, the bearing works great. However, the color was slightly different from the original Igus part I replaced (a bit lighter yellow). Not a dealbreaker, but worth noting if aesthetics matter for your project.

Perfect fit for my 3D printer upgrade
I needed a replacement for an old metal bearing that was getting noisy. This plastic bushing fits perfectly on the 16mm rod and runs silently. Installation was straightforward, and the round flange aligned well with my existing mount.

Reliable replacement part
Ordered this as a direct replacement for an Igus LMF16 unit. Dimensions match the spec sheet exactly. The plastic material seems durable and handles the lateral load without deformation.

Silent operation is a game changer
Using these in a CNC plotter project. The difference in noise level compared to ball bearings is incredible. No lubrication required is a huge plus for maintaining a clean workspace.

Excellent value for money
Much cheaper than buying the branded version directly, yet performs just as well in my automation setup. Shipping was fast, and the item arrived well-packaged.

Good quality, slightly tight at first
The build quality is excellent. It felt a bit tight when I first slid it onto the shaft, but after a few cycles of movement, it loosened up to the perfect amount of friction. Great alternative to metal bearings for dusty environments.
Q: Can I use this outdoors in rainy conditions?
A: While the plastic material is resistant to moisture and corrosion, this specific open-style bushing is not sealed. For heavy rain or submersion, we recommend using a sealed version or protective bellows.
Q: Does this require any lubrication during installation?
A: No, this linear bearing is made of self-lubricating engineering plastic and is designed to run dry. Adding external lubricants may attract dust and reduce performance.
Q: How does the load capacity compare to metal ball bearings?
A: While metal ball bearings handle higher dynamic speeds, this plastic liner offers superior static load capacity and damping properties, making it ideal for applications with vibration or shock loads.
Q: Is this compatible with a standard 16mm hardened steel shaft?
A: Yes, this bushing is specifically designed for use with standard 16mm hardened and ground steel shafts, which provides the best wear resistance and longevity.
Q: What is the maximum operating temperature?
A: The continuous operating temperature range is from -40°C to +90°C. Short-term exposure to slightly higher temperatures is possible but may affect dimensional stability.
