Works but nut is thin
The jack itself is great copper but the included nut feels a bit flimsy. Used my own hardware.

Perfect for active EMGs
Swapped this into my Strat with EMG 81s. Works flawlessly. Battery switches on when plugged in.

Good quality tight fit
Copper feels solid. Took a bit of force to mount but stays secure. No crackling.

Great upgrade
Much better than the cheap zinc alloy jacks. Signal feels clearer. Easy to solder.

Solved my battery drain issue
Old jack was leaking power. This stereo jack isolates the battery ring perfectly. Highly recommend.
Q: Will this work with passive pickups?
A: Yes but the ring terminal will be unused. It functions as a standard mono jack.
Q: Does this come with a battery clip?
A: No this is just the output socket. You need to connect your existing battery clip to the ring terminal.
Q: Is soldering required?
A: Yes you will need to solder the hot ground and battery wires to the respective terminals.
Q: Can I use this for a bass guitar?
A: Absolutely it is compatible with both electric guitars and basses with active electronics.
Q: What is the thread size?
A: It uses the standard 1/2-inch threaded bushing common on most electric guitars.
