Better than expected

Smells like heaven

If you love the smell of jasmine, you need this. It's technically a gardenia but has that classic sweet scent. It sits on my desk and makes working from home much more pleasant.

Nice but dropped some buds

The plant is pretty, but it dropped about half its buds shortly after I brought it home. I think it was the change in humidity. The remaining flowers are lovely though. Just needs some acclimation time.

Absolutely stunning and fragrant!

I was worried about keeping a gardenia alive indoors, but this plant arrived in perfect condition with several buds. Within a week, the first flower opened and the scent filled my entire living room. Very easy to care for so far.

Perfect gift for my mom

My mother loves gardenias but always kills them. This 'easy-care' variety seems much hardier. She has had it for a month and already has two new blooms. The smell is incredible.

Great plant, minor shipping delay

The plant itself is healthy and beautiful. It took an extra day to arrive due to weather, but the packaging kept it safe. One leaf was slightly yellow, but it perked up after watering. Would buy again.

Q: Does this come with a decorative pot?

A: The plant arrives in a standard black nursery grower pot. It does not include a decorative ceramic or clay pot, allowing you to choose one that matches your decor.

Q: How often should I fertilize this plant?

A: During the growing season (spring and summer), we recommend feeding your Gardenia every 2-4 weeks with an acid-loving plant fertilizer. Reduce feeding in fall and winter.

Q: Is this plant safe for cats and dogs?

A: Gardenias are considered mildly toxic to pets if ingested in large quantities. We recommend placing the plant out of reach of curious pets to be safe.

Q: Can I put this directly in the sun?

A: Gardenias prefer bright, indirect light. Direct harsh afternoon sun can scorch the leaves. An east-facing window is usually ideal for indoor varieties.

Q: Why are the leaves turning yellow?

A: Yellow leaves can indicate overwatering or a lack of iron/magnesium. Ensure the soil drains well and isn't soggy. If the veins remain green while the leaf yellows, try an iron supplement.
