Exquisite craftsmanship for daily practice
The stone quality is exceptional. It grinds the ink stick smoothly without being too abrasive. The hot pot design keeps everything organized on my desk.

Great value, heavy and sturdy
The inkstone is heavier than expected, which is good for stability. The brush rest is a nice touch. Only minor issue is the ink stick was slightly small, but overall excellent.

Professional quality at home
As a semi-professional painter, I appreciate the fine grain of this She stone. It produces rich, dark ink quickly. The tray prevents spills effectively.

Solid starter set
Good for beginners and intermediates. The multifunctional layout saves space. Instructions were minimal, but the design is intuitive enough to figure out.

Beautiful natural patterns
Every piece of raw stone is unique. Mine has lovely natural veins. The ink pool holds enough liquid for a long painting session without refilling.
Q: Does this inkstone require seasoning before first use?
A: Yes, we recommend gently rinsing it with clean water and rubbing a small amount of ink on the surface to open the pores before your first full session.
Q: Can this be used with liquid ink instead of an ink stick?
A: Absolutely. While designed for grinding sticks, the ink pool works perfectly with pre-made liquid ink for convenience.
Q: Is the ink stick included suitable for professional work?
A: The included ink stick is high-quality and perfect for practice and general artwork. For specialized professional exhibitions, some artists may prefer their own premium sticks.
Q: How do I clean the ink pool after using it?
A: Simply rinse with lukewarm water and use a soft cloth or sponge. Avoid using harsh detergents or scrubbing brushes that could damage the natural stone surface.
Q: What are the approximate dimensions of the tray?
A: The entire unit measures approximately 20cm in length, 15cm in width, and 4cm in height, making it compact enough for most study desks.
