Industry standard for a reason

As a music teacher, I recommend the Yamaha 222 to all my students. It stays in tune well and requires less maintenance than other brands in this price range.

Great quality, slightly heavy

Perfect first flute for my daughter

Solid beginner instrument

Very reliable flute. It produces a consistent sound across all octaves. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the case latches were a bit stiff initially.
