Authentic Zisha clay

You can tell this is real Yixing clay by the texture and breathability. My bonsai seems to thrive in it more than in standard glazed pots.

Beautiful but delicate

The artwork is gorgeous, very traditional Chinese style. Just handle with care as the edges can be sharp if dropped. Overall very happy with the purchase.

Stunning craftsmanship!

Great quality, heavy duty

This is a solid piece of ceramic. It's quite heavy which gives it a premium feel, but be careful when moving it. The drainage hole works well.

A: Each pot is hand-painted, so there may be slight variations in the brushstrokes and decal placement, making every piece slightly unique. However, the overall design theme remains consistent.

Q: Does this pot come with a saucer?

A: No, this item includes only the pot and a plastic mesh screen for the drainage hole. A separate saucer is recommended to protect surfaces.

Q: What is the diameter of the drainage hole?

A: The drainage hole is approximately 0.4 inches (1 cm) in diameter, which is standard for pots of this size to prevent soil loss while allowing excess water to escape.

Q: Is the paint food safe if I grow herbs?

A: The exterior decals are decorative and sealed. While the interior Zisha clay is natural, we recommend using it primarily for ornamental plants or ensuring no direct contact between food parts and the painted exterior.

Q: Can this pot withstand freezing temperatures outdoors?

A: While Zisha clay is durable, we do not recommend leaving this pot outdoors in freezing conditions as water expansion inside the clay could cause cracking. It is best suited for indoor use or covered patios.
