Great for vegetable gardening
I bought two of these for growing tomatoes and peppers on my patio. The depth allows for extensive root systems, and the drainage holes prevent waterlogging. Very sturdy and aesthetically pleasing.

Solid investment for serious gardeners
It's pricey, but you get what you pay for. The size is generous, easily holding over 200 liters of soil. Just make sure your patio floor can support the weight when wet. Very happy with the purchase.

Perfect home for my ancient Podocarpus
This pot is absolutely massive and exactly what I needed for my large Podocarpus tree. The Zisha clay breathes well, which is crucial for root health. It arrived safely despite the weight, and the coarse texture looks stunning in my courtyard.

Beautiful but very heavy
The craftsmanship is top-notch, truly authentic Yixing style. My only caution is the weight; you definitely need help moving it once it's filled with soil. Otherwise, it's a fantastic container for my stump bonsai project.

Elegant and functional
Adds a touch of traditional elegance to my modern garden. The deep brown color complements green foliage perfectly. No cracks or chips upon delivery. Highly recommended for large shrubs.

Superior quality clay
You can tell this is real coarse pottery, not some cheap imitation. The porosity helps regulate soil temperature and moisture. My Ficus has never looked better since I repotted it into this giant planter.
Q: What is the internal volume approximately in liters?
A: Based on the 100cm diameter and 85cm height, the internal volume is approximately 220 to 240 liters, depending on the exact curvature of the specific hand-molded unit.
Q: How is such a heavy item shipped without breaking?
A: We use reinforced wooden crating and high-density foam padding specifically designed for oversized ceramics. Our shipping partners handle these items as freight to ensure they arrive intact.
Q: Can this withstand freezing temperatures in winter?
A: Yes, authentic Yixing Zisha coarse pottery is naturally frost-resistant. However, we recommend elevating the pot slightly off the ground during extreme freeze cycles to prevent the base from sticking to ice.
Q: Does this pot come with a saucer to catch excess water?
A: No, due to the extra-large size and weight, this planter does not include a saucer. It is designed with raised feet and drainage holes to allow water to flow directly onto the ground or patio surface.
Q: Is the clay glazed or unglazed?
A: This planter features an unglazed, natural coarse finish. This allows the clay to breathe, promoting better air exchange for the roots, which is ideal for bonsai and large trees.
