Reliable and sturdy
Solid build quality. The adjustment screws allow for fine-tuning the closing speed which was necessary for our drafty hallway. Deducted one star only due to the high price point.

Excellent quality for glass doors

Great product, tricky installation
The spring itself works perfectly and looks sleek once installed. However, you definitely need a professional to cut the floor cavity correctly. Not a DIY job for beginners.

A: As an EN3 rated device, the TS500N is suitable for doors weighing up to 60kg (approx. 132 lbs).
Q: Does it come with the installation template?
A: Yes, the package includes a detailed drilling template and installation instructions to ensure accurate floor cutting.
Q: How do I adjust the closing speed?
A: There are two adjustment valves located on the top cover of the spring. Using a small screwdriver, you can regulate the main closing speed and the final latching speed independently.
Q: Can this be used on an exterior door exposed to rain?
A: While the unit is durable, it is recommended for interior use or sheltered entrances. For fully exposed exterior locations, additional weatherproofing measures or specific outdoor models are advised.
