Excellent protection
My rod survived a long flight thanks to this case. No scratches or dings. The dark blue hides dirt well too, which is a nice bonus for outdoor gear.

Durable and lightweight

Great quality, slightly tight fit
The build quality is typical Daiwa excellence. Just note that if your rod has a very large reel seat or bulky guides, it might be a snug fit. Otherwise, it's a fantastic storage solution.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. The side pocket is small but useful for holding line spools or tools. Would recommend for anyone needing basic but reliable protection.

A: Yes, the 45(B) model is designed to accommodate rods up to approximately 135 cm in length, which comfortably fits most standard 7-foot two-piece rods when broken down.
Q: Is the material waterproof or just water-resistant?
A: The high-density nylon offers excellent water resistance against rain and splashes, but it is not fully submersible or waterproof. We recommend keeping it dry for long-term storage.
Q: Does the shoulder strap detach if I want to carry it by hand?
A: Yes, the adjustable shoulder strap features quick-release clips, allowing you to easily remove it and carry the case using the reinforced top handle.
Q: Can I fit a reel attached to the rod inside this case?
A: Generally, no. This tube-style case is intended for rods only. Attaching a reel may damage the guides or prevent the zipper from closing properly. Please remove the reel before storage.
