Authentic Japanese import
As a long-time fan of Akira Minagawa, I am thrilled to find this authentic fabric. The texture is substantial yet airy, perfect for door curtains that let light through while providing privacy. Fast shipping too!

Beautiful but pricey
This is genuine mina fabric and the quality shows. The butterfly motifs are delicate and charming. My only hesitation is the price point, but for a special project, it is justified. Just ensure you pre-wash before cutting.

Dreamy aesthetic

Lovely fabric, careful washing needed
The fabric is gorgeous and the print is crisp. I deducted one star only because it requires very gentle handling during the first wash to preserve the embroidery threads. Follow the care label strictly!

Exquisite quality and detail
The embroidery on this butterfly fabric is absolutely stunning. You can really feel the quality of the Japanese cotton. I used it to make cafe curtains for my kitchen, and they look like a piece of art. Worth every penny.

Q: Does the embroidery bleed when washed?
A: The dyes used are high-quality and colorfast, but we always recommend hand washing in cold water with a mild detergent for the first wash to ensure the longevity of the embroidery details.
Q: Can this be used for outdoor curtains?
A: While durable, this 100% cotton fabric with embroidery is best suited for indoor use. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and rain may fade the colors and damage the embroidered threads over time.
