Perfect for SDR Projects
This board works flawlessly with the AD9361 daughter card. I was able to get PetaLinux running and set up the FMCOMMS3 drivers within a few hours. The FMC connector alignment is precise, and the documentation provided by the seller was very helpful.

Great hardware, steep learning curve
The build quality is excellent and the Zynq-7020 chip offers plenty of logic resources. However, if you are new to Xilinx Vivado, be prepared for a learning curve. Once configured, the performance for signal processing tasks is outstanding.

Fast shipping and well packaged
The board arrived quickly and was securely packed in anti-static material. Boot times are fast, and the pre-loaded demo image helped me verify all peripherals were working before starting my own project. Very satisfied.

Solid board for academic research
Purchased this for our university lab. It handles complex FPGA designs without overheating. The inclusion of eMMC storage is a nice touch compared to other boards that rely solely on SD cards. Highly recommended for students.

Good compatibility with Analog Devices tools
Integration with Analog Devices' no-OS drivers was straightforward. The only minor issue was that the silk screen for some GPIO pins was slightly faint, but the schematic cleared up any confusion. Overall a very capable development platform.

Excellent value for industrial prototyping
We used this for a rapid prototype of an industrial control system. The multiple expansion headers (PMOD and Arduino) made it easy to interface with various sensors. The Gigabit Ethernet throughput is stable and reliable.
Q: Does this board come with a power adapter included?
A: The standard package includes the development board and a USB cable. A 12V DC power adapter is sold separately, though the board can be powered via a standard 12V supply you may already have.
Q: Can I run Ubuntu on this Zynq-7020 board?
A: Yes, you can run Ubuntu ARM or PetaLinux. We provide basic boot files and instructions on our wiki to help you get a Linux environment up and running.
Q: What version of Vivado is recommended for this board?
A: We recommend using Vivado 2020.2 or later for the best compatibility with the board definition files and IP cores associated with the Zynq-7020 architecture.
Q: Is the FMC connector HPC or LPC?
A: The board features an FMC LPC (Low Pin Count) connector. It is physically compatible with many HPC cards if you do not need the extra lanes, but please check your specific daughter card requirements.
